The iridescent surface of Undercliff Night evokes the Undercliff as seen by the clear light of a full moon. Always made in limited numbers, Undercliff is now in its third incarnation under expert 2nd generation master maker/ designer Timothy Harris. It is named after the striking Cretaceous landslip complex on the south coast of the Island, the site of the original St Lawrence Studio. Multiple layers of hot colour, gold and silver leaf, canes, straps and coloured glass chips are extensively worked to depict the rocks, trees and foliage from this famous iconic beauty spot.
