General: This website is operated by isle of Wight Studio Glass Ltd ("we", "us" or “our") and all purchases made on the site are governed by these Terms and Conditions.

Getting in touch: We find that person-to-person contact is often a quicker and more effective way of communicating about orders than online. If you have something you wish to discuss with us such as colour, stock availability, delivery times, or if you require further information about any of our products, please do not hesitate to telephone us at the studio on 01983 522339.
Purchase Contract: Acceptance and confirmation of your order is deemed to have occurred after payment has been made. The purchase contract will operate from this point, and we will supply the goods to you in accordance with your order and these Terms and Conditions.
Availability: When you order online, if the item you want is not in stock, we will make it for you. This may involve a short delay depending on how busy we are, but is usually no more than 1 to 2 weeks, and often less. However, bear this in mind when you place an order, especially if you are ordering as a gift or for a special occasion.
Product variation: All Isle of Wight Studio Glass is hand-made at our Arreton studio, and no two pieces are ever quite the same. Although we strive to ensure that our products are as uniform as possible, there may be slight differences in pattern, texture or colour between different items in the same range.
Prices: All prices are in UK Pounds (including VAT) and postage and packing with in mainland UK. If you live outside of mainland UK, we may need to add a surcharge for postage, and we will contact you. If you subsequently amend your order, the prices charged will be those applicable to the amended item(s) at the time that the amended order is confirmed.

Returns and exchanges: If you purchase an item from our website, we are just as committed to you as if you had walked into our studio shop. But a photograph on your computer is not the same as seeing and handling the product for yourself. We want you to enjoy and be satisfied with your purchase, but there may be occasions when you feel it necessary to return an item. We operate a no-quibble refunds policy: if you return the item to us within ten days of our posting date (within the UK) we will refund the purchase price, provided you meet the following conditions:
(1) contact us by email (info@isleofwightstudioglass.co.uk) or telephone (01983 522339) before returning the piece.
(2) you bear the cost of the original carriage to your address and the return postage.
(3) we receive the piece intact and undamaged (returning it in our original packaging is the best way to ensure this).
Warranty and Liability: Nothing in these Terms and Conditions will restrict our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence, neither will any of these terms restrict any of your statutory rights. However, we will not be deemed to be in breach of contract or of these Terms and Conditions as a result of any delay in our performance or failure to perform our obligations if that delay or failure to perform is due to any cause or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, fire, flood and other acts of God, strikes, riot, accident, disruption to energy supplies, civil commotion, acts of terrorism or war. Other than as set out above, our maximum liability arising out of any order for the supply of goods to you under this contract will be limited to the retail price of the goods contained in that order.
