Layers of colour, read as rock in cross-section.
A perfume bottle with a flat base in the Orange colourway, 11.5cm tall and 8cm wide. A striped layer of coloured glass is pushed over a core of shaped clear glass and stretched as the piece is blown, giving the effect of the strata seen in sedimentary rock. Pictured in a matt finish: choose gloss or matt under Surface Finish.
Unique to Isle of Wight Studio Glass, Stratum takes at least two glassmakers and a good deal of studio time, so output is limited and no two pieces band alike. Hand-made in our Arreton studio and never mass-produced. Not in stock? We will make it for you: contact the studio for timing. Want a different size or colourway? Ask the studio about a commission.
Care: wash by hand in luke warm water with a little washing-up liquid and dry with a soft cloth. Not dishwasher safe.
