You will find us at the very top of Arreton Barns Craft Village, above the pond and the church. Follow the flame.
There is no admission charge and no need to book. Visitors are welcome to watch our glassmakers at work for as long as they wish, to ask questions, and to take their time among the finished pieces in the shop.

We are closed over Christmas.
As this is a working studio, the hours during which hot glass is being made can occasionally change. If watching the making is the purpose of your visit, please telephone ahead on 01983 522339, or check our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Bringing Your Dog
Dogs have always been welcome at the studio and always will be. There is no need to ask, and no part of the studio or the shop is closed to them.
We ask only that your dog stays on a lead and close beside you. This is a working hot shop, with a furnace, molten glass at over 1,000°C, glassmakers moving quickly with irons, and shelves of finished work at exactly the height of a wagging tail. A short lead keeps everyone safe, your dog included.
Water is available if they need it, and there is plenty of room to walk them around the wider Arreton Barns site before or afterwards.
Access
The studio and shop occupy a single ground floor with step-free access throughout, so both the viewing area and the retail displays are open to every visitor. There is ample room to move a wheelchair or a pushchair between the displays.

By car: The Craft Village lies on the A3056 Sandown Road, approximately four miles from Newport on the left, shortly before Arreton village itself. Travelling from Newport, take the A3020 out of the town and join the A3056 at Blackwater Junction. There is a large main car park with an overflow, and parking is free. We are at the very top of the site.
From the ferry terminals:

Making a day of it
Arreton Barns is home to a number of independent makers and shops, a café, the church and the pond. The Isle of Wight Glass Museum is a short walk away and well worth an hour, with a gallery devoted to Island studio glass including our own.
AMAZING!
A wonderful studio where you can sit and watch the glass blowers in action. We watched a beautiful bowl being made from start to finish and felt very involved in the process as each stage was explained to us.
The studio has some lovely pieces for sale, all individually made with precision and skill, ranging from small ducks and birds to large vases and bowls in various patterns and shapes. Something for everyone.
The studio is set within Arreton barns and is free to visit.
